Ready Player One: Have You Found the Easter Egg?

The Plot of Ready Player One
The story takes place in 2045 when virtual reality technology has penetrated into each corner of the human life. However, the real world is so awful that everyone wants to escape from it. Hence people seek comfort in the VR game “Oasis”, created by James Halliday (Mark Rylance). Before his death, he announced that he had set an Easter egg in the game and the people who find the Easter egg will be the heir to the Oasis. To find this egg, you must first get three keys, and the clue to find the key is hidden in James' past. To get the East egg, the person first needs to collect three keys. The clue to finding the keys are hidden in James’s past life.
Wade Watts (Tye Sheridan), Aiqi (Lena Waithe), Dadong (Sakizaki) and Xiu (Zhao Jiazheng) are friends in the game, and later met with, the five people, including Argyle (Olivia Cooke) they associate in the game, embarked on the journey to find eggs. The enemy they fight against is the big capitalist Nolan Sorrento (Ben Mendelsohn). Nolan Sorrento is seeking to get East egg to control the entire virtual world and to earn profiteering. He exploits the labor force, which leads to the death of overwork among employees. The father of Argyle is one of them. This is also one of the main reasons why Wade and Argyle are determined to defeat Nolan.
The Easter eggs in the film
When the protagonist is busy finding the eggs in the film, the audiences in front of the screen are also looking for the eggs. Combining popular entertainment products such as movies, games, and music, Director Steven Spielberg makes the whole movie the biggest Easter egg this year.
