Answer: We can’t use Blu-ray drive to play 4K Blu-ray disc. If we want to play 4K Blu-ray disc on PC, we need three things: a 4K Blu-ray drive for PC, 4K USB cable and 4K Blu-ray Player software.
Ultra HD Blu-ray(4K Blu-ray) is a digital optical disc data storage format that supersedes Blu-ray which is incompatible with existing Blu-ray players. It can reach 3840 × 2160 resolution while normal Blu-ray can only reach 2K level.
